The allegations of The Wall Street Journal against Amazon are significant. The journal accuses them of destroying the competition by stealing their datas to offer the same kind of products but private-labelled "Amazon Basic".

But an Amazon spokesperson told CNBC that without viewing the data provided to the Journal, it has no way to vouch for its authenticity.

In my opinion, Amazon is really using its thir-party sellers' datas because we can all notice that the products they offer are the same ones as the producers. They may be anti-competitive but they will not make their strategies public because if so, they will lose their brand image and reputation. Indeed, Amazon already tried to stop start-ups to grow by stealing or buying their innovation. They will not make the same mistake again.

But Amazon is already being probed by Federal Trade Commission officials over its business practices in retail and cloud computing so we'll see if the allegations were true.

Finally, the point of view of The Wall Street Journal may not be neutral. So, the article can be influenced by some opinions.
