Your Contract Law course 2025-2026
This course uses Moot Courts (simulated court cases) to help you:
-
Learn the principles of English Contract Law.
-
Practise legal analysis and advocacy in English.
-
Develop both legal reasoning and oral communication skills.
Moot Courts are assessed exercises where you act as a lawyer in a fictional case. You will argue either for the Plaintiff or the Defence, applying the law to the given facts.
Each Moot lasts around 20 minutes (maximum 5 minutes per lawyer). Sometimes the judge may allow rebuttals, extending the time. There are normally no witnesses or cross-examination, unless permitted by the judge.
